Helping Hands



PACKING & MOVING.......


On the morning of February 26th, Lenz Mechanical was able to help Amanda the Panda pack up boxes and clean out their old building. They moved to their new location on Grand Avenue the next day! We were so excited that they were able to get a much bigger space for the things they want to accomplish in their organization. Lenz Mechanical is a family owned and operated heating and cooling company. We met Charlie at Amanda the Panda several weeks ago and decided that we wanted to get involved. THE ORGANIZATION.......


Amanda the Panda is a wonderful non-profit organization here in central Iowa. Their goal is to help grieving families who have lost a loved one. They have to raise the funds to help these families. Some of the things that they do are camps for their families, support groups, school visits, and much more. They have some fun events coming up like the Colors of Hope 5k run/walk, and eating at Buffalo Wild Wings to help raise money. They still need donations for their new home! I would encourage everyone to get involved if they can!

After serving my country in the Marine Corps for four years, I attended DMACC for plumbing, high and low pressure boilers, and electrical.  I continued my education at Vatterot College where I studied heating, cooling, and refrigeration.  I graduated at the top of my class with honors.  I then worked my way up through the ranks.  I began as a Service Technician/Installer; then Service Manager, Operations Manager, and finally General Manager.  I gained a wealth of knowledge on heating and cooling, business knowledge, and my favorite, customer service.
In 2009, I embarked on my mission:  to design and manage the perfect heating and cooling company.  You will see I focus on relationships, not making money.  You deserve better customer service that is more affordable.
I carry an Iowa Masters License in heating and cooling, refrigeration, and hydronics.  I am licensed, bonded and insured."
